Yes. The writing's addictive once you've finally figured
it out. I’ve been squirreling ideas away as they’ve
come. I guess I’ve got nearly a dozen
already.

Why are you living over there in Austria anyway?
A:
My wife is Austrian and we decided to come
for a few years so I might know her culture and learn
her language. And every new place is
an adventure. Now, when we move back to California in a
couple years, I’ll really understand what she misses.
I’ll miss that stuff too: the wine houses in the
country, the dumplings and gravy, the open markets and
Vienna’s white stone elegance. And the
beer. My German still sucks though.
